Station C is a multi-media arts centre that adaptively re-uses a decommissioned Post Office building built in the Beaux-Arts style. The design celebrates the heritage character of the Postal Station building with an addition that captures the imagination: it is an upside-down version of the red brick Beaux-Arts building, an exact formal replica but with bricks of glass levitating overhead. Like a luminous mirage, it is a beacon of creativity. This new iconic landmark is both innovative and respectful, exemplifying our collective values, while supporting our cultural vitality.
