Rosedale Apartment
A warm and restrained palette unifies the renovated interior of this 185-square-metre mid-century modern Rosedale residence. Natural woods and soft tones of brown and beige reinforce the apartment’s generous proportions, creating a calm and light-filled environment shaped for long-term living. A dark, reflective wall introduces depth and contrast, amplifying light and atmosphere throughout the space.
White oak flooring grounds the interior, supporting a plush carpet in graduated shades of silver and grey. Carefully selected furnishings balance comfort and precision, including a dove-coloured leather chair by Jean-Pierre Massaud. At the centre, the studio-designed Gibbous Moon coffee table in marbled white stone anchors the room.
Inspired by the geometry of the waxing gibbous moon, the table merges semicircular and elliptical forms into a single sculptural surface. Its presence encourages gathering while expressing a considered approach to material and form. The interior reflects a commitment to durability and quiet refinement, where natural materials and precise design decisions support longevity and reduce the need for future intervention, creating a space that supports daily life with clarity and ease.
