Paul Raff is Principal and Creative Director of Paul Raff Studio, where he leads design vision and strategy across a diverse body of work. Born in Montreal and shaped by the open landscapes of the Canadian Prairies, he brings a deep sensitivity to atmosphere, site, and form. He holds degrees in Architecture and Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and gained early experience at prestigious firms in New York, Barcelona, and Hong Kong.

Since establishing the practice, he has advanced a rigorous, iterative approach from concept through realization, balancing clarity with careful judgment. His work spans architecture and art, from the Garden Pavilion to Treetop Villas and large-scale public commissions. He notes, “Sustainability spans many concerns, and at its best, it shapes artistically innovative results.”

A recipient of the Ontario Association of Architects Allied Arts Award and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Allied Arts Medal, Raff is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and an active lecturer and critic.
