Nahal Rahnamaei is a designer at Paul Raff Studio, where she works on custom residential projects shaped by material sensitivity and careful coordination. She holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science and a Master of Architecture from Toronto Metropolitan University and is an OAA Intern Architect.
Her role spans project management, design coordination, and visual communication, guiding projects from concept through construction. She brings a strong focus to material selection and detailing, with an ability to align technical systems with lived experience. Her work reflects a thoughtful approach to context, often drawing on history and craft to inform contemporary design. She notes, “Architecture is an interactive system, not an object.”
Alongside practice, she leads an independent design studio and explores small-scale metalwork, extending her interest in making, material, and everyday ritual.
