We are looking for a skilled and capable Intern Architect or Junior Designer. Responsibilities
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience. Your duties will include, among other assignments:
3-D modelling and visualization
Schematic design, design development, and construction drawings.
Graphic Design for presentations
Requirements
Fluent in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe.
Articulate and a good listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Well-organized, self-motivated, flexible, and with a positive outlook.
Ability to work well either on a team or independently.
Ability to manage assigned tasks in a timely manner, and provide updates to the project manager.
Assets
Interest in sustainable building features and design.
Knowledgeable in construction drawings and developing details, especially pertaining to building envelope.
Knowledge of Part 3 and Part 9 of the OBC.
Familiarity with municipal approvals process for building projects.
Experience in residential design.
