Taylor Charbonneau

Taylor Charbonneau is a designer working across residential projects, artworks, and communications. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo and first joined Paul Raff Studio as an intern in 2013, returning in 2018 after experience in New York City with Leroy Street Studio and in Toronto with Poiesis Architecture. His role centres on concept and design development, advancing iterative studies and parametric workflows for custom residential features and public art.

Projects include Limelight Bandshell, Hudson Drive House, and the Banff Visitor Centre. He approaches each commission as a synthesis of art, site, and use, noting, “Sustainability goes beyond energy metrics. It is tied to longevity and shared cultural value.” Outside practice, he explores experimental assemblage and sound.
