The Glencairn House renovation was organically conceived for ongoing growth and adaptation--to be constructed in phases to suit a particular family's expansion and changing needs. This project concentrated on key interior spaces, including the gutting of the third floor to create a suite of new rooms which would maximally integrate space under the existing sloped ceilings. Additionally, better insulation and sealing applied to the entire building, resulted in a 50% reduction in energy expenditure.
